Courtesy light, footwell lamps
Hello everyone, I need some help with a problem with my 2009 Jaguar XF. for some reason my courtesy lights don't come on when I open my car door or when I disarm the car with the remote. the footwell lamps and the lights under the right and left mirror do not come on either when I disarm the car. I'm wondering are all three lights connected some type of way. I'm guessing that one of my fuse have blown out. does anyone know which fuse needs to be replaced to fix this problem.
thx

See here, this could be your fix: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-doors-148479/
Mods - any chance of making this little procedure a "sticky" somewhere, this is at least the third time I have posted this up.

I tried touching the middle light for a few seconds, as I read that in the owners manual but it didn't work. with all three lights not working (footwell, courtesy lights and the lights under both outside mirrors) I was thinking there was a fuse that gives all 3 of them power. just not sure what fuse is it and the owners manual does not say anything about three lights that I mentioned
I blew this fuse on both my previous XFS and my current XFR, while stuffing about with LED vanity mirror globes.
The fuse is in the front interior fusebox (on the RHS, so driver's side on a RHD/UK car and passenger side on a LHD US car) which is in the side of the footwell under the dash. That is on a RHD car it's right next to the accelerator pedal.
The Owner's Manual says it is fuse number F35 15 amp blue, but both times I had to replace the fuse it wasn't this one at all!
It turned out to be the red 10 amp fuse second from top in the middle row of fuses (sorry, don't know which number that is).
Once you replace the fuse you will need to do the reset procedure again.
