This question of numbers by colour comes up on most sections from time to time. Unfortunately the answer is always the same - no one can find any published figures.
We have a forum member from Jaguar CRC (Customer Relations Centre) in the UK and I asked her the same question recently. The answer was that whilst Jaguar compile annual production figures, they don't subdivide this into paint or trim level.

You will have to be very lucky to find one in a given colour locally. I was as open minded as I could be, sure only that I wouldn't buy a black one. I ended up with a black one... Most people seem to spec performance cars black - especially here in the South where it makes least sense.
You know on www.cars.com you can specify color, right? Of all 28 listed for sale there, only 2 are gray - 17 are black!
Black (17)
Blue (1)
Gray (2)
Green (2)
Silver (5)
White (1)

That's my problem...while I love the cars in black...I don't really want to maintain a black finish...the other options just aren't that great...stratus grey is the preference but doesn't get built for some reason.
Kyanite blue is great but hard to find and it may not age well...so...black it is. The only black I've seen is ultimate black, can anyone comment on how the other blacks compare?

My car is midnight black. I love the color.
Sometimes it looks very dark blue, other times just very flat black.
You get the enjoyment of a black car, but doesn't show swirls as much.

Sorry for bringing an old dead thread back to life,
I found some information for those who come upon this search in the future. I was looking for specific data for how many XFR's were in the states, and I found this site that lists sales figures for vehicle models by year.
Jaguar XF Sales Figures - GOOD CAR BAD CAR
According to this site, there were only about 5500 Jaguar XF's (all trim levels) sold in the states in my year, 2012. By contrast, there were about 10 times that number of BMW 5 series sold in 2012, one of the reasons I love my car so much!
Now, if only we had something that breaks it out by trim level....
