i didnt realize the whole dash had to come out to replace the airbag!! I have an '09 XF and the dash is still in perfect condition. I also got the airbag recall letter. I sure hope messing with the dash doesn't actually cause the rippling problem. I've worked hard arguing over the shady parking spot at work and using the fitted shade religiously to protect that thing!
