If I did go with them, would they be compatible with the R1 kits available? I haven't torn into the XF brakes as of yet.
Really appreciate the help.

No warnings, I cut off the sensor, stripped an inch of the 2 wires bare, twisted them around each other, and taped them up, which prevents dash warning lights.
Had I not grounded the sensor they are still compatible with the R1 brakes, the pads are your standard pads, nothing special, and they have the U shaped hole for the sensor.
