Seat Modules are a regular problem with several Jaguar models. Fitted beneath the seat cushion, they are subjected to frequent flexing in normal driving and this often breaks tracks on the circuit board. A method of checking modules on XJ and XK models is to (temporarily) swap driver and passenger to see if the fault moves too. I don't know if X250 is the same but Jaguar tend to replicate design principles across models and it would be odd if the XF is different.
