Drooping Headlights?

Drooping Headlights?
Just motoring over from the S-Type list (to keep an eye on my kid brothers... ;-) and was wondering about whether XFs suffer from the same drooping headlight problem that effected X-Types and S-Types with HIDs?
Jaguar's headlight aiming mechanisms in those cars were very prone to problems that resulted in having to replace the entire headlight assembly ($$). So, I was just wondering if they redesigned the aiming internals and that current cars don't have that problem.
Thanks

It's actually more a matter of age. Some little plastic arms that are part of the headlamp adjustment mechanism become brittle with age and then fall apart. That allows the headlamp mounting plate (inside the plastic headlamp assembly) to pivot forward so the light ends up pointing down just ahead of the front bumper.
My '08 S-Type 4.2l had one go in July so it took 5+ years for it to happen in my case.
If it's a problem with XFs you would expect to start hearing from people with '09 models fairly soon...
