Default E diff fault code 2010 xfr???help

So I'm driving and I'm getting to see differential system fault and then I went home and stopped the car and then I drove it again and it didn't go on I guess it's something that's happening sporadically does anyone know if I should have this checked out at the dealer because if there's no code it won't show up on their system or is this something I should worry about please let me know I'm under warranty so I want to get it fixed

How is your battery. That and gearbox fault are common spurious errors when battery is failing.

Don't know but will suggest to change the rear diff oil ASAP. It's easy and for sure it needs to be changed by now. It might even be low on fluid?

Mine did that for a while, I would try cleaning the electrical connector.

Yes!!! I was paranoid that it was a failing rear diff… grinding, nocking… replaced the battery and it went away.
