Default Electric windows misbehaving

Hi, I have recently bought a XF 2009 3.0 Diesel. It hasnt been the easiest of starts but quite like the car. However last week I got in the car and all the windows when I used the key fob all dropped except the drivers one. After I drove for a bit I tried again and it worked fine.

A week later I got in the car and used the in car button to drop the window to wipe the mirror (another story) and it would move, could hear the window try and move but nothing happened. Same thing happened a few miles down the road and hey presto it worked again.

Then yesterday I got in the car and the drivers window did it again. So I checked all the windows and the rear drivers one also wouldnt drop down.... Left it for a bit and then they worked again.

So its not the individual window. Is it remotely possible that its the cold? Not that its been icy at all just chilly, hence random window issue.?
