yeah right, but the v8 would only be available on SC model or R, much pricey.
US doesnt have high tax on big engine car, that's great! I hate to pay a premium on tax just because it has bigger engine

The cylinders are still there? I know the crank is still as long as in the V8 but they actually cast the cylinders as well, I.e the whole block is the same length and height?

Ok, I looked more carefully at that u tube animation ( not the above link, google this) and I see what you mean. It looks like there are two blanking plates on top of the V8 block deck right behind the ends of the heads.
