Default Etc u1000-00 and u3000-49 rear bcmb

Hi
Sorry, my italian is a bit rusty, but hopefully translate will help you.

The codes you read out are probably not related to the non start issue. These codes are for the fuel flap door: when the fuel flap actuator is not functioning / shorting the output for a longer period, the electronics in the BCMB disable the actuator driver. I had the exact same issue on mine. To answer your question: yes, you can reprogram the replacement module by using the 'program new module' sequence in SSD, given you have a full version of SSD with Internet access. (cracked ones will probably not work).

But as said before your main issue is probably not related to the BCMB.
Do you have any smart key warnings in the dashboard?
You said your main battery is good, whats the voltage on it? It might have sufficient power to drive the electronics, but shuts down in the moment you try to crank.

Ciao della Svizzera
Chris

Ciao Chris,
""
activated solid-state driver protection device deactivated.

DTC 1000-00 is a direct cause of P04BB-12, I don't think you need to worry about that right now.

When no Smart Key message is displayed you can assume that the key is recognized and the security system unlocked the car and made it ready to start. From what I understand so far it still looks like no power gets to the starter.

If I were you I would measure the battery voltage, and test the main starter fuse located under the right side trim in the trunk, just above the battery.

Hi Chris, you were right about the battery contact, actually it was the oxidized contact of the negative pole of the battery. Clean and tight, the car started immediately and all the dtc recorded on the ssd disappeared. Thanks for the directions.

hi Chris, I'm sorry but today I received the evil "smart key not found". Now the car does not start, does not turn on the instrument panel, does not close and does not open the locks. I want to ask for your help again, what is the procedure with sdd to reprogram the 2 keys. I'm desperate this car is driving me crazy.

Sorry to hear you are in troubles again.
Unfortunately I have no experience with recoding keys. What I know though is that they need to be present when you replace bcm modules, as otherwise you will get locked out from your car.
Did this just happen like this, or where you replacing parts?
Did you perhaps work on the roof harness? I'm asking that because the antenna for the remote keys is in the roof near the interior lights.
I hope for you that not your BCM got shot like in this thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...module-249612/

Hey Chris,
I got same same problem like you. Central locking does not work. Can u help and tell me how did you solve this problem? I have 3 trouble codes:
P04BB-12 - Fuel Filler Door Lock
U1000-00 - Solid State Driver Protection Activated - Driver Disabled
U3000-49 - Control Module

One of the problem was Fuel Filler Door Lock which i change for new one and BCM is still blocked.

I will be glad for any advice.

Hi Petr
I had the exact same issue with identical error codes. So I replaced the filler door actuator, just to find out that the issue is on the AJB, the rear junction box. Maybe the broken (and for long ignored) actuator eventually also killed the AJB's internals.
In consequence I replaced the AJB with a used one, reprogrammed it using SSD and now everything works again.
You will need an AJB with identical part number, and an SSD version that allows programming modules. Jag dealers usually will not do that but try to sell you a new AJB.
