Yes, that slip fitting is reduced and my exhaust guys had to use a 2.25” pipe to mate to it and then flared the new piece to 2.5 to head back to the X pipe.
I did not want him to cut the slip fitting off so I could go back to stock piping if I wanted to.
It has been a year now and i will never be going back to the factory mid-pipe so I should go back in and have them cut out that restriction.
