Extended Warranty (Costco)

So I just pulled the trigger on an exclusionary vehicle service plan for my 2012 XFR. They are backed by Century Warranty Services. I had the option of $0, $100 or $250 deductible. Choose to go with the $100 since I anticipate at-least 2 visits a year to the shop for some sort of repair. I have always been big on extended warranties for luxury cars and they have come in handy for expensive repairs.
Just putting this information out there in case anyone else is looking. Passed along the sample contract to my SA and she said it looks legit and reads as other exclusionary policies they work with.
Costco will max out at 7 years/100K miles from the purchase date of the contract. They said the cost goes up significantly after 10K miles on the odometer.
WarrantyDirect: More expensive then Costco and 1 year shorter in coverage.
EasyCare: Super Expensive!
Continental: Shorter length of coverage.

- My warranty expires July 2, 2020 or 109,997 miles, whichever comes first.
- Honor published labor rates by the dealerships
- Wear/Tear coverage included
- Navigation Covered
- Transferable (Key since I plan to sell the car before the warranty expires)
- OEM Parts

Do you know if this works in canada? I am curious. My warranty is up in September and just got quoted by the dealership to extend to 2018 it is $8K...thought that was a bit excessive but not sure if we have the same options up here. Do you just get it from Costco automotive or how do you go about pursuing that.
Thanks.

One Jaguar dealer tried to sell me SleazyCare, and I left with sticker shock and thought that was their best and/or only option. I didn't buy. That was in April of 2012 when I bought the car 2nd hand.
Today I went to another Jaguar dealer and bought Jaguar's direct factory warranty extension taking me to 100,000mi and up to some date in 2019. I'll chew through the miles long before then. The price was like $3978. Everything is covered except cosmetic and wear and tear items. No deductable at Jaguar dealerships. If I choose to go to a non Jaguar, ASE certified mechanic (say a road trip with no dealers around), I pay $100 deductable. Towing and loaner cars included. The only qualifier for the sale was that the car was still under factory warranty. No inspection or fluid services required for the purchase. :-)

So far the warranty has paid for itself. A total of $4015.98 in claims with a $100 deductible. It sucks that Costco no longer offers VPPs.
Both the Jaguar dealership and the indy shop said that the Costco VPP has been the easiest to deal with. No hassle!
