They are a rolling restoration project. Life is too short to keep up with planned obsolescence.

Yeah, I guess it's called begrudging acceptance, i.e., it is what it is. I wish I trusted any mechanics near me to tackle at least some of it, but I don't even trust the dealer techs anymore, after seeing how they gave my car back to me after the included service for the first 50K miles. Watch, I'll do all of this crap, too, and then I'll start having electric issues or something else.
