Default Fun with a Ferrari

So let me begin this by saying I am fully aware that I had no chance. Anyway so I was driving down 95 just north of Philly going about 85-90 passing people left and right when I look in my rearview and see some HID's coming up FAST, then he passed me in the right lane. Ferrari 599, weaving in and out of traffic like an Indy 500 driver (and sounding like one too) guy must have been going 120. So I decided what the hell, Ill try and catch him. So I actually caught him, he saw me in his rearview and tried to take off, I caught him again for a few seconds then he must have been playing with me because in a second he was gone, we both were getting off a ramp that was about a 70 degree bank, he took that thing going at least 100mph like nothing, I tried but felt like my car was not going to make it so had to slow down. I finally caught him in the city, he was cool gave me the head nod and he was off. Anyway, just put things in perspective, usually I feel like I could take anyone on the road, or at least come somewhat close with my car, but not that night, man against him I felt like I was driving a honda!

Nice story , your mighty Jag was able to keep up with the Ferrari . My best advice is be very warry in public roads , you know accidents don't just happen

Hey drjp,
Boy, You had the heart to do that on I-95. This had to be late night or very early in the morning. Traffic on that thing is usually bumper to bumper, more so now that every exit you come to has road work. Your lucky the state boys didn't catch both of you.. They would have loved that... LOL...

It was late, yes I could only hope they would have gone after him and ignored me, I'm sure its not every day they get to nab a Ferrari, hahaha

Thoughts, neat story, but the cops are crawling all over the NJ TPK, so a reckless driving ticket would not have been pretty, never mind a "racing" ticket. I have driven the turnpike uncountable times and seen how some of the people drive, it is truly scary.

I am glad you had some fun in a truly great car and you are safe and ticketless.
