Sometimes, after running my Jaguar XF, I switch off the engine and return a short time later, the engine will not start. I may have to wait for 5 - 10 minutes and try 4/5 times. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Which Canary Island ? (Not related to your issue but I regularly visited Fuerte!)

Petrol or diesel ? How old/mileage ?

Does it turn over and not fire or is it "click" dead ? If it only does it when warm then maybe it's a fuel pump that needs to cool off - does it seem ambient temperature related ?

Any codes? That's really odd - could be any number of things without knowing specifics
