Default Fuse for radar detector?

I guess I probably should install my Valentine One so does anybody have a favourite fuse number to tap onto in the passenger side fuse box to provide suitable ignition switched power ?

Thanks!

I can't recall which fuse I used, but I just put a piggyback fuse adaptor for my V1. You can get them at any auto store.

Sorry I want to jump on this thread too. Anyone know if there is an empty fuse in a 2014 XF 3.0 AWD or which one I should piggy back to tap into so that the radar detector links up like the receptacle as it powers based on unlocking and locking the vehicle.

Thanks.

You want the fuse that powers the aux socket in the console box. I think it's 24 or 28 in the passenger cabin. That's the one I used and the detector powers up on unlock and shuts off on lock...
