Hi every one ...
I have a feeling that my 2009 XF supercharged is sipping more fuel than it should ... on a full tank of 91 Octane ... I would be lucky if I can get 350 KM out of it ... Now I am not totally drying out the tank ... I refuel it on the very last notch ... can any one confirms that this is normal for our car ..I don’t drive car like a maniac mostly follow speed limits..
Thanks

If you do mostly stop and go city driving, I think it's about right. For mostly highway driving, it's low. I'd say mine gets a predicted range of about 510 km for a full tank because I do a lot of highway driving. The predicted range is based on your average km per Imp. gallon that varies by your average speed accumulated over a certain amount of time

My 2010 is a early 2010 SC model and from doing a lot of reseach, I have found that in city driving, My gas averages about 3 to 350 KM. On the highway, after a hour or so at a steady speed, I can get up to about 490/500 per tank full. I did change the air filters to the K & N and my city driving increased 10% per tank full. I think the better breathing helped but the bottom line is that these SC 8's love the petrol. I was able to get a full take of 93 and it gave me another 3% increase in city driving. Becareful not to run it to low, May throw off your fuel averages.
Hope this helps..
