XF 3.0 Diesel - V6 - 8 speeds model. Only 56k miles. Weird noise appeared a month ago on COLD START ONLY.
1. When the shift happens between 1 and 2 gears, you will hear a short knock from down-front side of the car ( I think it is right side ) Only in the mornings and only once. It becomes more and more noticible and I am concerned I might have problems with my gear box or clutch?
2. What also I can add is that another sound appeared along this one, when I move the rotator from R to P - I will hear a lower sound just under the rotator. This sound wasn't here before. It is similar to a click sound.
3. When moving the rotator from D to N straight after I stop and press the break pedal - there will be a strong push of the car, like a shake or so. I I keep the pedal pressed for more than 2 seconds, I will hear the engine sound change and the push will not happen or be very low.
4. I am not sure on this one but I think the gharder I press the break pedal the lower is the "collision" inside the gearbox. Sometimes, when stoppping at the traffic lights, when I press break, the car will still try to drive. You can feel the car not exiting the gear.
These things is what I have noticed. They might be related to each other because they all started happening at the same time.
