Hacking NAV/Entertainment System for Wallpaper
#1

Hi All,
I have a 2009 Jaguar SV8 and I was hoping there was a way to hack the system to allow me to upload my own wallpaper/screensavers.
Does anyone have any suggestions or tricks to be able to do this? I've already gone through the engineer/service/nav secret menu's and haven't found anything of interest.
Please do let me know.
Thanks!

I have documented this hidden menu in the Nav screen that can give you access to many options. I am not sure which code will allow you to add a wallpaer but I know it can be done here as that is how the techs do it. They add the Jaguar, Bower&Wilkins, etc wallpapers in this menu. Just need to type a few more codes in to get the right one. Enjoy:
There is a secret diagnostic screen in the Navigation System on the XF.

To enter diagnostic mode do the following...

2. Accept the Sat Nav Disclaimer Message.
3. Enter Diagnostic mode by pressing the top centre (Top Edge) of the screen for approximately 5 seconds.
4. Enter a pin code of 660, 661, 662, 9448, 295660
5. It is safe to browse the settings, but change the settings at your own risk.
