Help Missing Wheel nut
One of my dad's "10 XF's wheel screw broke off. There is now nothing for that one lug nut to screw into.
(Look at the picture for reference.) Is that sold as a separate part from the rest of the assembly? If so what is the part number? I used to think those were forged into the hub, but apparently according to dad, they're not.

It's hard to tell, but it looks like the bolt part is still there, but the nut is missing.
If the bolt is definitely broken off, your dad should demand the last shop that put the wheels on pay to fix it. I see shops all the time using air impact wrenches to tighten wheels, and that's a big problem. It warps the brakes, and if they get crazy, it will break off the bolt. If torqued properly, the amount of torque applied would never break a bolt.

Had a wheel stud break off on each of my 2005 x350s.
The Lincoln ls wheel studs are suitable and available nearly anywhere. They are cheap and nearly any mechanic or tire spot can remove the broken part and replace with a new.
I can not say for sure that the xf is the same, but I would not be surprised since wheels and lugs etc are the same.
Should be a sub $100 job.
Thanks

Yes, the wheel stud definitely is broken off, it is not still there. Apparently he bought the car like that. Mag, is that the part for the XJ? I doubt it'll fit, I may be wrong but I think it is more likely that the XJ part be interchangeable with my XK8's than with an XF.

I think you just whack the stud with a mallot and it pops out the other side. If you look at the picture, there is a spline at the head of the stud which keeps it in place and keeps it from turning when you turn the lug bolt. Buy a new stud from the dealer and take it to a local tire shop and have them do it.

Small problem the only Jaguar dealer in Puerto Rico decided to call it quits. I can only get my parts via online or autoparts stores.
Ok, so the X350, S-Type, XF, X150 and X-type have the same stud size. This makes things way easier. It also seems to be common with many other cars and brands.

Go to a site like Advance Auto Parts or Autozone, and plug into your car information, and you'll get a correct part number.
