how is this connector removed???

Pinch the sides and pull them off, if you have arthritis a pair of pliers may be needed.

no arthritis, but pinching does does work. There are two tabs that seems to lift, but cant figure out why it still is engaged when i lift both tabs.

Just pinching on mine then pull straight off. It feels like there might be an o-ring or seal inside so you have to give it a gentle tug but that's all.

Several Jaguar models have similar connectors.

When you press on the sides (LH arrowed in BLUE), it should lift the tab (arrowed in RED) sufficiently to pass over the moulding (arrowed in GREEN).

A slight twist may make it easier to separate.

I am stumped...I and squeezing these things with pliers and they just are not coming out. I will have better luck taking the tabs that hold the harness in place on the cooling fan.

Pinch on both tabs and hold, push in then pull off.

The push in before pull is sometimes the magic...

Yes, push the two tabs inward and wiggle the plug. It will come out.

That was it...I never would have guessed it.. They just popped out...and yes....the magic happens with the "push in" step...
