Default How to Increase power XF 3.0 V6 pretol

Dear colleges, someone know where can i buy a throttle response chip, or remap or power chip whos fit on car bellow? This jaguar came whit very big delay on acceleration etc...

It may have a fault that is not bad enough to throw codes. Start with OBD live data.

Best and cheapest way to get more power is to sell the car and buy one with more power.

the problem in Brasil do you know how much its a Jaguar? V8 its the price of Used Ferrari, or Lambo... Brazil its a **** place to buy car... need a lot of money... my model its very expensive there.. think v8

With the non-supercharged engine, a tune/remap might help a little with the throttle response but isn't going to get you the gains from remapping a supercharged engine. You might want to reach out to Eurocharged and see what they might be able to do. The tune is something you can load at home via a hand held programmer and it's pretty simple. I'm not sure I would bother with those throttle response chips that you can find on eBay though...

Check the air filter, maybe needs replacement.

By the way, for our American friends, this XF has the same engine in it as the old S-Type, the 3.0L naturally aspirated V6.

Was not sold in North America, only in certain markets like the UK, Australia and a few others.

You might want to have it dynod. Then you'll know if there is an issue with the car not delivering what it should - or that the full power isn't enough for you. As others have said I doubt you will get much of a noticeable boost from that engine with a tune or other mods unfortunately.
