Incomplete phonebook
I've got a Samsung Droid Charge. According to the Bluetooth Connectivity Centre, everything should work except for the call lists for Android 2.2.1. Actually, with phone firmware 2.3.6, call lists do work.
Trouble is the phonebook. Several of my most important phone entries don't show up at all, and there are large gaps in the data. For example my son's name is missing but there are alphabetic entries before and after his name, so I don't think it's a capacity thing. I do have probably 1000 or more entries, though.
Does anyone have a clue about this?

Something worth checking: what names (or fields attached to names) have apostrophes? In my workplace, any address entry with an apostrophe forces the rest of the address book to be dropped from our syncing server.
I'd also check for any rogue characters in any of the address book fields, and as a test, remove (temporarily) any suspicious entries to see if this fixes the problem.
