Default Installed Carbon Eye Lids and Front Splitter

Its the very first thing ive done to the car since i bought it so my excitement is through the roof even though they are very minor details that in my opinion add a lot to the look of the car.

BEFORE: With the chrome trim still on.

I think It looks better, Although Im a C/F fanatic I would like to see it in body color before passing an opinion on C/F or painted. Did you get those from Mina ? they are supposed to be making one for the xk 150.

My favorite color combo is carbon fiber on white so slowly all the little chrome pieces will be carbon fiber. And yes i got them from Mina right off their website. Im waiting for them to release the carbon side mirrors because i want to have to wrap as few parts as possible.

Its weird because in the pictures im not a fan of the eye lids but in person i absolutely love them! No nothing screws on the all come with 3M double sided tape that you just peel and stick. I wasnt too sure how i felt about the fact that its only held by tape but yesterday when i was installing the lip i messed up one of them slightly and had to take it off and re-position it was a pain in the *** getting it to unstick from the car so im not worried any more. I reapplied the tape and put it on properly.

I am seriously thinking about the eye lids. But I did make my own splitters and installed them with double stick tape and self tapping screws just for my sanity of having them stay on.

Oh by all means i encourage any feedback wether it be positive or negative. It would be a pretty lame forum if everyone did the exact same mods to their car but thanks for the input!

Today i managed to wrap the chrome piece at the bottom of the headlight as well.

I like the concept, but if it were me, I would buy a pint of matched paint for my car and paint them. There isn't any black on your car and it doesn't look right being black, make it match would be my recommendation.

i tried looking for that piece but i knew there was slim to non chance that i can get it by itself especially in carbon fiber so yes i used 3m carbon wrap and wrapped it. it was much easier than i thought since if you take a knife and push on it from the back it pops out just enough that you can wrap over it and behind the edges

Ive considered doing it in white but im a huge fan of carbon fiber and in my opinion carbon fiber on white is the best color combo but itll look much better once my carbon side vents and mirrors come in and when i wrap the blades in the front and but a black grille on it.

I am going to try to wrap mine too. I want to do a few parts on my car to match the splitter that I made.

Thanks for the tip!
