Default Installed H&R wheel spacers - Pictures inside

I got around to installing my wheel spacers today so I thought I'd throw up some pictures for anyone interested. After seeing another forum member's car I decided I wanted to do this mod. The spacers are H&R Trak+, 20mm on the back and 15mm in the front.

H&R 4035633 20mm
H&R 3035634 15mm

The fitment was perfect, and I did not have to grind down the stock studs with my stock 19" wheels. The entire job only took about 30 minutes. Once back on the ground the car looks amazing. It really gives it an aggressive stance. The 20mm on the back bring the tire almost completely flush with the fender, and the 15mm in front are just a bit less flush. You could probably get away with 20mm on the front, but I think it looks better a bit staggered. I haven't driven it yet, but I will post driving impressions once I get it out. I'm not expecting it to feel any different, but we'll see.

Next mods (coming soon) are window tint and an OEM spoiler... I'll be sure to post up more pictures once that is done!

Looks much better. Getting 15 mm on front and back done this week.

I am using the exact same setup on my '12XF. The spacers were used before on my '08 XK. I've just purchased a '10 XKR and likely will use spacers on that too.

A tip: I found that the lug-nuts that come with the spacers are rather shallow or thin and when torquing it is very easy to round off the edges. Do that more than once and you might have difficulty removing the nuts, when needed. I ground a socket specially to fit the curve of the wheel-stud hole, in order to get more "purchase" on the nuts. Also, last week talked to H&R about ordering a new set of lug-nuts to replace ones that I already rounded off on my spare 20mm spacers that were left over from previous usages. They are available separately from the spacers, part# 12001.

They do look great. One question, why 15mm front and 20mm rear? Why not 20 or 15mm all around?

I just went off a recommendation from another forum member. Now that I've installed them, I think 15mm all around might be best. The rear wheels stick out past the fender a ways with the negative camber in the rear suspension.

I want to do this really bad.. Just worried about the potential side affects. Heard nasty rumors. Wheel berating issues. Coming unbolted. Even using the hub centric bolt on ones mentioned above. Hmmmm

I just clicked on the links that you provided for the 15 and 20 mm spacers and realized that most of the people, including me, use a different kind of spacer from H&R. Here is a link for my spacer design.

Edit - never mind, only the picture appears different, the DRM part numbers are the same.

Default 15mm H&R Spacer Photos

Finally getting around to posting some photos of before and after the spacers. It's subtle but looks so much better than stock. Didn't think I needed to until I saw another member's with them and it was all over from there. Doesn't look aftermarket at all...looks like it should have from Jaguar.

I have the 20mm on rear and 15mm on front - no issues at all after a ton of driving.

Default Longer Bolts

I was thikning about the 20mm but one thing i saw online was that they said to use the longer bolts.. when you installed the 20mm into your rear, did you use the stock bolts and screws?

I used whatever bolts came with the spacers, as well as the factory bolts on the car, and didn't modify them in any way. I've been running them for 3+ years (since June/July of '12) with absolutely no issues at all. I'd highly recommend.

The spacers have built in bolts. Just make sure you get the trak series. I had 25mm on the back and 20mm on the front. No issues what so ever.
