All Jagaurs except the XK share the same filter from 2002-2013 you can look at the K&N website and see. So these should be the same as well.

That would be nice, they just came out 3/04/2013. Not sure why the price isn't there. I will call. I know they are normally around $70 a piece.

After contacting BMC, they've corrected their web site ordering and the XFR filter is now available for purchase...$90+ a pop!

Does anyone have instructions on how to replace the air filters? Looking at the engine, it looks like there are two air boxes thatare fastened down with 5-6 torx screws. The end of each air box is attached to a stainless steel large diameter hose clamp. Is this correct?

I always used BMC on my car when there was an application for them. I just sold the 2 I got from BMC when I sold my XFR recently. I still have a few other goodies left for sale.
BMC makes a great dry performance filter and I would advice everyone to give them a try in any car you have.

I just ordered a pair of WIX....

Wix 42261 Air Filter, Pack of 1 : Amazon.com : Automotive Wix 42261 Air Filter, Pack of 1 : Amazon.com : Automotive

Going by the BMC specs below...the little difference in performance with this glorified K&N filter vs a Paper element filter, just doesn't justify the cost of over $180.00 for two filters..

So how do you replace the air filters?

Remove the 6 torx screws and gently lift the lid of the air box up on an angle to take out the old filters. Replace with new filter the same way the old one came out but make sure you are gently when closing the air box back down not to pinch the seal or filter so the screws go back in easily and without resistance. A good seal is needed so just be gentle and take your time. It is very fast and easy.

Thanks!
Is there a need to loosen the hose clamps so that the air box lid moves around more easily?

Thanks. I just loosened the 7 torx screws on each air cleaner -- it turns out they're captive, so they stay in place after they're loosened. Not loosening the hose clamp as you advised saved me from wasting another 5 minutes per side.

All told, I replaced both engine air cleaners and the cabin pollen filter in under 20 minutes.
