So I was thinking how one might obtain and add a new Red grill badge for the XF that lights up...like in the new commercial? Seems like it should be simple.
Any ideas would be appreciated .

 

Unless you hooked it into the pulsing start button's logic, a red light on the front of a running car seems illegal to me.

 

There is a company called Ampd that was getting popular when I was a part of the Acura and Cadillac communities. I am pretty sure they can put together a lighted version of almost any badge. I never bought one but it couldn't hurt to reach out to them to see if they have done one or can do one for you:

I think the rear badges were more popular than the front

 

Thanks Guys....I checked out Amp'd..seems they are having some legal issues at this time...probably copywrite issues...also they don't have the Jag emblem that i can see.
I believe and I am not sure the new 2014 comes with the emblem within the front grille that lights up red(I.e Mercedes does theres in white) so it is nothing that would be illegal. I will need to check with local Jag Dealer I think and I have already checked the parts page online and dont see that I can purchase a new 2014 badge/Lighted emblem.

 

Check this out on U Tube.....now that I look at it again..not sure it lights up...it's just Red background around the cat?

The badge doesn't light up in the commercial. It looks like it's lighting up but it's really a reflection.

Will need to go down there and order and confirm if it will fit on my 2009.

SNG Barrett - will this fit on a 2009 xf sc? I am told mine is 70mm and the new red is 85mm. Do you have different sizes?

There are different sizes. I'll see if I can find the post where they mention which fits on which car.

The red badge that fits the 12+ XF (85mm) is: C2P25690
