As a forum reader , like many others here , understand what you are trying to explain , but sometimes it can get lost in it's translation , there's a difference of opinion or understanding .

I'm sure the OP got the answer he was looking for

Move on , This topic has had it's run .

As usual looking forward to more of your posts .

Following up here on what is going on. Showed the service manager and she said she would get me a new engine cover. I had the broken cover and foam laying on the engine for a long while until the SM took an engine cover from a 'supercharged' engine and put it on mine for the time being.

I sent my car there again to get my door lock fix. They told me they had the part and to bring the car in...I left it there they give me a rental Hyundai Elantra to drive in the mean time...great. Next day they left a message and said the lock has not arrived and the car will be ready for tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and I need my car for the long weekend so I go there to see if it is done. They did not call me nor leave a message to inform me on the progress...even after I left a message asking them what the f is going on. I go there and its still not fixed. My car looking filthy dirty and to make things worse a few scratches near my fuel tank.

This is the 2nd time they have scratched my car up, the first time they did it and the service manager said they would buff it for me...im still waiting for that to happen. These new scratches look bad but the point is it happened again. I am not comfortable going there anymore this sucks.

I told them I am a pretty easy going guy and have given many chances. I think I have had enough. What should I do about this...the scratches ...I think they would buff it out but is that good enough compensation?

Time to cut your losses and find another mechanic dude. Life is too short to do business with below average people.
