Jaguar XF 2.0 i4 rattle at 2200-2800rpm
Hello friends,
I have bought a new Jaguar XF 2.0i4. From the first start on I find out that there is a rattling sound between 2200-2800rpm from the left front site. The sound is like the exhoust is touching some steel and steel is getting in resonance. Exept that the car is very quite. Does someone have the same problem or any idea for the reason. When I open the driver door the sound is not distinguischable any more. Only if the door is closed and insite is quite I can hear this rattle noise up from 2200rpm through 2800 rpm. This sound can be heard also by moderate accelerating from start while the gear is in 1st or 2th. After 3th gear the noise can not be heard anymore maybe because of road noise.

Rattling noise is gone thanks Jaguar Service
I brought my car to Jaguar Sercive at the weekend. They found out that the rattling sound was comming from some loose plastic cover on the bottom of the car located bellow the left front door after 1 hours of searching. The problem was fixed and the rattling noise is complately gone. Thanks to Jaguar Service !
