Just got ECU Tune on the '09 XF SC
Just got my '09 XF SC tuned by ECUTuningGroup.com (i've had the Mina supercharger pulley for a while now).
He told me it would take 100 or so miles to feel the full impact but I should feel "some" change immediately. When we took it for the test spin, I wasnt impressed the first mile or so.. After about 2 miles I noticed that the engine response/RPM rev-up was much faster.. after 4 or 5 miles I thought I could feel some power improvement, but wasn't 100% positive.
I just got back from a 40mile spin around the mountain and NOW I can absolutely feel the difference in response, power, and acceleration, and (so far) the mileage is also doing 3 or 4mpg better.
Can't wait for the next 60 miles!

Their normal price is $1,395 (Price List | ECU Tuning Group) but I got a few hundred off because I already had the pulley.
They came out to the house to do it, which is awesome.

hey i have this same tune, what i was worried about is when they did the tune they did it off the standard setting for the car, so when you go into sport mode of hit your button does it seem to mess up your performance?
i see that when i am in "race" mode i am almost at red line and it opens the throttle to 100%, the car doesnt seem to respond as quickly as it should,

no lag or drag in standard or Performance mode. The only negative thing i've noticed - and it's not really even a negative, it's just very different, is that when i'm in Sport mode and going at a steady speed at high RPM, if i poke the gas, it upshifts instantly (or somehting, i havnt figured out what it's doing yet) so I no longer get that kick in the pants, throw your head back into the seat. the power is still there, it just reacts differently.

I was thinking more along the lines of measuring your increase over stock to see if you got your money's worth. Three runs usually hover around $50-$75, so it's not like its breaking the bank. Most importantly they will tell you if you are running to lean or rich from the change to your air fuel ratio, possibly saving your car from catastrophic results.

Keep in mind that when your car was flashed it reset all the ECU Adaptive settings and then it relearns your driving habits again. Now that you may or may not be done gassing it hard the car wants to shift sooner to be smoother and or vice versa. Every so many miles the ECU/TCU will take samples on your driving inputs and apply them, once you start t ochange your driving it will take time to adjust to it and you will see what you are seeing now with the shifting.

Will need more miles to tell for sure, but so far it's UP ..
