Default K&N Fuel filter for XFR?

I bought one as it was advertised as for the 2010 XFR on their site, but my indie said the car doesn't take that part or something but it show as compatible on all the sites selling it.. Its it he K&N PF-2000.

Anyone know how to change it and if its difficult / worth it?

Take it back, our XFR's don't have an external fuel filter, just the sock filter in the tank.

Yep, what Will says.

Here from the workshop manual:

A fine mesh filter is located in the lower section of the pump module. This provides filtration to the fuel as it is drawn into the module.

There is a winged filter on the fuel pump that gives additional protection and a life time fuel filter integrated into the flange which eliminates the need for an additional filter further downstream in the fuel system.
