Question LED upgrade.

Hi,
SO I have upgraded the license plate lights to white LEDs. ALso the bulb in the trunk is LED now. My question is all the jaguar xf have puddle lights which are under the exterior side mirrors which are stock yellow i would like to make them LED to match the rest of the bulbs. Does anyone know how to do this ??
P.S in the headlights on 2011 model we have a marker light has anyone attempted to change that ??

Welcome to the forum Ajay. I would recommend you use the search button first as the topic has been covered by other owners including myself. A few threads:

I have a 2012 XFR and was unable to replace puddle lights with LEDs. I bought everything and had dealer install them. They would work for a second and them power off. The dealer said that the issue was related to the electrical sensor system that activates them. It may be an isolated compatibility issue with 2012 MY. So I am stuck with the originals. I bought the LEDs that were recommended in the earlier posts. License light swap was easy and worked.

AJ I am surprised that the LEDs didn't work out for you. I have had no issue with the Puddle Lamp LED swap. I also have 2012 XFR.

Strange. Maybe I had the wrong LEDs or the tech was doing something wrong. The charge was around $150 per side but I was only charged for one side. I wonder if he had to do both at the same time and only changing the bulb on one side caused a problem.

I suggest buying from vleds.com. All my LEDS were purchased through them and are error free.

The only place you need the "error free" lamps are the ones that are part of the lamp out sensing circuit and turn signal lamps.
