Default A little upgrade to my paddles

Having looked at the JLR aluminium paddles I wasn't overly impressed with the quality. These are said to be billet machined, well they are not. They appear to be a 'casting' of some sort that is them heavily linished to give a grained appearance. The only machining is on the lugs where the cross hole is. They are then anodised.

So just because I can I made my own. These are machined from solid aluminium, polished and wet vapour blasted to give a nice satin finish. Finally there are bright anodised. I was pleased with the outcome.

All comments welcome good or bad!

Very nice :-) Some of us mere mortals will just have to buy JLR ones ;-)

These look like factory quality, if you can produce these and sell them, you might have yourself a side business. Great work!

Thanks for the comments.
I have made the feel much better too when you select a gear. I have used a stronger spring and this helps a lot.

Default Nice one

I'd have a set if you ever decided to sell them.

Not sure if this is allowed or is the right place to post this.

Mods please advise?

I have made some of these paddles and they are for sale and I wondered if there was any interest?

The cost would be £160 a pair including the two new springs plus postage. This is nett to me so any paypal fees would need to be paid for by the buyer.

This does not include the plastic part that fits them to your steering wheel, but this can be swapped over from your existing plastic paddles. You just need to tap the brass pin out. The 'plus & minus' are left uncoloured as this can be coloured to suit your own preference. I did mine with a black Sharpie.

These will fit any modern JLR vehicle. If in any doubt contact me.

Thanks, Martyn
