2010 Jaguar XF 5.0 Premium - Short Take Road Test - Auto Reviews - Car and Driver

Compared with the old supercharged model, which had 35 more horsepower and only about 25 more pounds to lug around, we recorded remarkably similar acceleration times for the new 5.0. Zero to 60 mph took 5.1 seconds versus 5.0 for the forced-induction car, and the quarter-mile was dispatched in 13.6 seconds at 106 mph compared with 13.5 at 107. In passing maneuvers, however, the new XF 5.0 was 0.1 second faster from 30 to 50 mph and from 50 to 70 mph, at 2.6 and 3.5 seconds, respectively.

So, objectively 5.0 is similar or even faster than XF4.2S/C it seems...I bet if you were to to some light ECU tuning and install a smaller S/C pulley 4.2S/C would end up much faster though. As is, they are about the same

Default Can someone explain the logic

Can someone explain the logic behind the fact that as a new member I cannot view a photo? This is even more silly considering that if I sign out and visit as a guest I can view the photos?

I hope you enjoy the car! I love my '11 XF Premium

If you check in Jaguar Forums Help & Suggestion Center you can find threads about restrictions , you need min 10 posts plus a few days , it's an anti spam feature we all know you're not a spam so please do not be upset or let your feelings hurt .
Visitors can see images ? honestly I haven't noticed this yet but there are some sites let alone see images , you can not see threads as long as you're not a member , this is pure rubbish lol
