Default Mina Carbon Fiber Engine Cover

Just showing off the Mina carbon engine cover I picked up. Thought it would dress up the engine bay a bit, even though I rarely open the hood.

Have a TCP intake on the way as well (back ordered because of a fitting). I want more intake noise and thought that a bit more air couldn't hurt either, especially with the pulley in use.

More new stuff? There is no keeping up. You are putting together a great car. Still think the kyanite blue makes this car really pop.

Thank you for the compliments Jaguny. I really think the Kyanite is special as well. When I pull into the dealership, I get waves from a number of the employees because they know it's me. None of them have ever seen another one come through.

I plan on having mine at least 4 more years, so as I determine how to make it better, I do it. Now Philhef, that guy always has something going on. Was shocked to find out he has 3 or 4 other vehicles. When does he sleep?!?!

Have no idea. Call Chris at Mina and ask.

And I hope the TCP gets here soon. They have had a small part that's been on backorder for a couple of weeks. Communication has been great and I laugh because he keeps offering to give me a refund if I don't want to wait. I've decided to get it and he's the only game in town, so what does a week or even a month matter? And as long as I know he's on it, it makes me feel secure that when it is available, it will show up on my doorstep.

.
This was another project that I bugged Chris about.. I love the cover, and just like you, I don't open the hood much. I also have the intake, I'm just waiting to install it after I get my pulley installed.

Thanks for bugging him. And it's interesting, yours says Jaguar (like the XFR-S) and mine has the R like their hood vents.

When Chris first started doing alot of the carbon fiber stuff, He had a different team doing the actual carbon fiber detail. Long story short, If you read some of the past post, There where quality issues. With his former team, His first batch of engine covers had problems putting the Jaguar logo into the carbon fiber. He then switched to the metal cut R logo for XF-(R). Since this photo, I actually added the metal cut (R) to my cover.
