Well fellas, I've got good news and bad news. I took delivery of a new Mina Gallery exhaust today and installed it promptly this afternoon. Total time for install was only about 20 minutes. Exhaust sounds amazing on my 5.0L V8. Deep and guttural with zero drone or crackling.
However, all wasn't perfect. On the test drive, after first fitment, a damn raccoon ran into the road and struck my front bumper. The ******* cracked my front lip in two places and busted the hell out of the "mesh" and cross piece.
So, what are my best options are replacing the bumper? I have seen these $800 XFR-S kits online but those look like they would have fitment issues and be of pretty low quality. (
Here is the website that is selling them based on the Ebay seller name: Auto Accessories, Car Parts - Advan Emotion Inc
I'd call them and ask about warranty and fitment if you are worried.
Sorry about the bumper. I feel your pain, I had a deer run into my driver's side mirror/door last week when I was driving to work at 5am. Luckily it was my winter beater and not my XF.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I called and they said they had not had any reports of fitment issues and if I had any trouble they will offer 100% refund.

I think you should try it out, especially since the seller is standing behind the product.
I'd give it a try. The pictures look great and if they guarantee fitment what are you out if you have issues? Time and possibly shipping?

I agree. I was just hoping someone on these forums had tried one out before so I don't have to be the lab rat lol. Oh well, guess I'm going to give it a shot!

That damn ******* raccoon was uninsured and running on an expired license! It was a classic hit and run.
Ok so I've got my car and the new Advan Emotion bumper at the body shop right now. Just got a call saying that the new bumper has holes for front bumper parking sensors but my car does not have them.
We are thinking the best solution is to buy some dummy parking sensors to plug the holes and never actually use them.
The problem is, I can only find them for $100/each.
Have you tried checking with local car scrap yards to see if they have any wrecked Jags? Also measure the holes and see if the sensors from other cars will fit...if they are going to be dummies then it doesn't really matter what make they are from...check the scrap yards for whatever will fit.

"I'm sorry we don't salvage the sensors...."
I'm thinking about buying some same-sized cheapo sensors (http://www.ebay.com/itm/281338470354) and then just tossing the rest of the parts in the trash.
But of course they are coming from China. So I can either wait 3-4 weeks for delivery or pay $75 for delivery next week which will end up costing $200 total..........

Not the best solution I don't think.
Ideas?
My thoughts: 1) your car does not now have sensors.
2) you will undoubtedly have to paint the new bumper
3) is there a reason that the body shop cannot fill the holes
in the new bumper prior to painting?
4) I'm probably missing something because it sounds
too easy.

That was my initial reaction too. They responded that they would be worried about it cracking from stress on day because it wouldn't have a lot of room to grip onto the bumper.
Bumpers tend to flex, when I had my Lincoln Mark 8 i had a shop fill in some spots for a smoother look but it only lasted 1 winter before cracks showed. You'd be better off finding some sensors.
Last night I bought some hard plastic, snap-on knock-out plugs. I think these will work perfectly. I was not 100% sure on which size to get so I ordered 1/2" and 3/4".
