Default mirrors fold on lock?

Is there a way to enable folding mirrors on lock? I know my XJ used to do this.

Not on US XF's They don't even have the motors in the mirrors for this function. A member did retro fit his US XF with them though, it was kinda complicated.

Out of curiousity does anyone know the exact reason why these were not included in the us models?

thats pretty stupid that we didnt get it. my car started as a canadian car, so i guess its not limited to US but north america as a whole.

as i walked past my car this morning i pushed the mirror in with my hands, so i guess i dont have motorized mirrors.

the car is not small by any means, we should have the ability to close the mirrors just so we can squeeze in between cars

I don't know what marketing file cabinet in Jaguar might have a demographic survey that said the NA models wouldn't want power fold mirrors. It was the same with my Audi S4 built in Germany and shipped to the US. No power fold mirrors. But it was $10K cheaper in the US than the UK so maybe that’s something to do with it...

If you have to fold mirrors in to get by a car that's a pretty tight space. Did you crawl out of the trunk to get out of the car? lol

Yup, Canadian here - neither my current car nor past XFR had powerfold mirrors. It's not because Jaguar is cheap. It's because we don't have parking spaces in North America
