MMM2 Navigation update

MMM2 Navigation update
Hi Guys,
We all probably have the issue that there are officially no more navigation updates since 2014/2015 for the older XF models. After searching the internet for options, I found some posts that were refering to the discs of some Volvo models that can be used as it should be using the same Denso MMM2 system. I Found a torrent with the 2017 discs that I downloaded, but I am hesitant to insert it into my car, because I don't want to brick my navigation..
Here for the link
Anyone any experience with this? Or heard it more often?

So the link is for the European maps. Can anyone provide a link for the USA/Canada DVD? I have no issues in downloading the map, I'v been asking Navteq for the last 2 years for an official update that I could purchase and was met with deafning silence. So f-u Navteq.
I have been in touch with some others on a Jag XF forum on Facebook and am told that the Volvo XC-70 Nav/GPS disks will work on the 2009-2011 XF cars.
Have not tried it but one gent there insists that he has been using one and it works. Believe that this would get us the American coverage and a 2015 (or possibly newer) disk.

Stumbled across this thread last week, and after being frustrated by Jaguar not supporting nav updates beyond 2015 I thought I'd give this a go. Followed the instructions to the letter r.e. burning at 2.4x on a verbatim dual layer dvd, and (surprisingly) it all worked! Or rather the UK maps worked. I thought I'd post about my success here so other forum members might be willing to give it a go
