Default Modular pulley system

Anyone ever look into modular pulley system for the supercharger cars? I used to run it on my previous supercharged car and it made it easy to swap out pulleys. Just thought I’d post it in case this could be useful.

Well firstly, the factory combined crank/lower SC drive pulley already has this modular setup, and it's why some people prefer to swap the lower supercharger drive pulley out, especially on (e.g.) the V6 F-Types, as it doesn't even need any special tools to remove it like the upper pulley does, so honestly in terms of having the ability to swap pulleys it makes sense to do it at the bottom this way if you want this kind of flexibility.

I don't think the upper supercharger pulley is large enough to support a modular bolt setup anyway, this would make it much larger and I imagine you'd have to swap in a huge pulley at the bottom to even keep the drive ratio the same.

Cool idea though. Just nice for us that Jaguar already gave us the option at the bottom

Thanks, good to know. I’ve seen some videos where people are cutting pulleys off and thought this would be a good alternative.

For anyone visiting this thread in the future... I've seen someone use a Griptec 2.38" modular SC pulley (should be the same size as the Mina Galley XFR 60.5mm SC pulley), which is 8-rib and I think raises boost by 1.5 lbs (again, same as Mina). Not sure if they had to modify the snout or not. As always, please do your own due diligence and use this as merely a place to start your research.

Did you decide on a size? With my new 181mm Mina Gallery lower (crank) pulley, I'm trying to figure out sizing for the SC pulley and leaning toward GripTech (sp). Unsure if I'll keep the same size as my Mina SC pulley (60.5mm or 2.38”), though, or if I'll go slightly larger. If I keep the same size, I'll be over the SC ideal efficiency RPM when matched to my Mina crank pulley, but since I'm adding meth, does it matter as much?
