Default My new XFR

Just picked up my 2010 XFR on Friday and after a 90 minute drive home am already in love..... slight vibration on the vehicle over 50, think the guy who put the new tires on it at the dealer I bought it from balanced it with a blindfold on, fingers crossed that is the only issue, everything works as it should, interior is immaculate, 92,000 kms on clock, hoping that I don't need to draw on your expertise to often but will certainly appreciate your knowledge if I do!

Congrats! The wheel shake could be a bent rim. They bend easily.

I have the same spec and also thought maybe the wheel balancing was out but turned out that I had a ding in one of the front wheels only visible on the inside. Got it straightened out and then rebalanced and much better. As many have verified, those 20" rims and US roads don't always see eye to eye ;-)

Looks like a great car - congratulations! The red interior is very striking?

I would guess a bent rim - those look like the 20 inch Nevis rims and they bend very easily. They can be straightened - not too expensive. But find someone who knows what they are doing!

I once coveted a 2010 XFR too (blue with London Tan interior), but had to "settle" for a 2015 XF 5.0 Supercharged
Enjoy, you have got yourself a lovely car!
P.S. I still can't believe you guys got Dougie Hamilton...

Good for you. I love that red interior! I was searching for a XFR in Toronto from January thru March this year and nothing right came along so I ended up buying Supercharged. I am already pondering the refreshed 2012 XFR.
