Default Navtool - Video on the Nav screen adapter

Anyone have any experience with Navtool? Seems to be a great solution for getting video onto the Nav screen in the car.

While you may (and probably will) mock me for that let me explain what I like. I do a lot of road trips, that's one of the reasons I got the XFR to begin with as it's such an epic cruiser. When I do I tend to watch (listen to) video (movies/TV). I however only watch things I've seen a million times, things I don't need to look at to know what's going on. For me it's a fantastic time waster.

In virtually all my performance cars I've either had a mount for a tablet or video on the Nav screen and I've loved it. Just curious if anyone has tried that, from what search revealed I'm one of the nut *****.

Thoughts?

Aren't your eyes supposed to be on the road?

Not mostly, but always. The exception being scanning
instruments and mirrors.

Well that didn't take long. I suppose you didn't read my post, let me quote myself

Absolutely no different that listening to an audio book and scanning the nav screen every 5 minutes or so.

Easy to listen to just the sound track.
