Need advice on service
My car just have 37k miles now, but it will soon exceed one year interval since last maintenance.
My question is since it is almost 8k miles from 45k service interval, is that ok just do an oil change now, and do the remaining stuff when car hit 45k? I am afraid it would cause warranty issue, if didn't do the whole package.
And I check with two dealer, one prefer me to do so, another seems in the opposite way, make me even more```
Any advises are appreciated.

Michael,
Jaguar recommended Service Schedules are on a Time OR Mileage basis - whichever comes first.
The interval for the XF depends on engine size. For the smaller engine, it is every 10K Miles OR 12 Months; for the larger engine, it is every 15K Miles OR 12 Months.
As you mention the 45K Service, I think you have the 5.0 Litre and the vehicle Passport to Service book will have two dealer stamps for 15K and 30K services?
The warranty is a lengthy document but it makes clear that service intervals must not exceed either 12 Months OR 15K miles. Unless the second dealer is prepared to give you written confirmation that only doing the oil and filter change does not void the warranty, the full 45K schedule is the one to do.
Other than the oil and filter change, the Service Schedule items are mainly 'check and top up if required':
Despite this, I expect the cost difference between the oil change and the full list is a significant amount.
