I ordered a new style 2013 growler badge for my XK8 grille. It's bugger than the previous badge and I like the black background with the fluting.
It was too big for my XK8 badge plinth so I tried it on my XF. Even though it was too big to fit recessed into the frame molded into the plastic mesh, it did fit flush. I popped out the original badge with a butter knife and a piece of card paper to keep from damaging the surround. Took some patience but out it came.
Then I used some two part epoxy clay and put a large mound on the back of the badge and pressed it in the frame.
Looks great IMO. And my previous badge was getting a little dull anyway!
