Thumbs up New Tuning Solution - Hennessey Performance

After much debate between us fellow Jaguar owners, I think it is safe to say that we are all biased on which company can provide tunes with real results. I came across this video today and I am excited to see a *well known* company like Hennessey Performance starting work with Jaguar cars!

I am eager to see the results of their development for the 5.0L engines! Here is a blurb from their site:

"Stay tuned for more upgrade information for the Jaguar 5.0L V8 550HP Motor. Including: high flow air induction systems, engine management tuning upgrades, high-flow intercooler systems, exhaust system upgrades, Brembo brake upgrades, suspension upgrades and wheel and tire upgrades."

Does the new XFR-S have launch control? My XF SC will spin wheels or crawl off the line

It is good to see more aftermarket performance options coming for our cars however I would not exactly use the words "hugely reputable" and Hennessey in the same sentence.

Just Google "hennessey scam" if you don't know the entire background on that guy, his company and his history.

This thread consolidates a lot of the stories together if you are too lazy to search:

For those who dont know the real story behind John Hennessey/Hennessey Performance | Forzacentral

Granted a lot of those stories are not new but I don't think I could do business with someone like that, especially after reading some of his forum posts.

Lol>wrx. Ive run several threads on that and other issues over the years on forums with him. His tuning school, ex employees and other issues. Eventually you fix your business, go out of business or go into new market of cars. Ie jaguar

I was never aware of this. My original post has been updated with a better fitting description of the company!

No launch control that I'm aware of -- I expect the result would be ample tire smoke. Careful throttle control is a must or you will get some wheel spin.
