New XFR and Black Wheels

Hi everyone.
Just bought a used 2012 XFR - my first Jaguar. Finally had to give up my 911 but I absolutely love this car.
My only issue is that it seems the previous owner had the wheels painted black. They were done professionally and look as though they were factory painted. However, I'm not wild about the look . . . though it's growing on me. Perhaps more importantly, my wife hates how it looks.
So I'm soliciting opinions on the look and also suggestions about selling them or swapping for a set of stock silver XFR wheels.
Thanks for the help!
Eric

I'm not a huge fan. They don't look horrible but I'd prefer stock. I had a B7 Audi S4 and the previous owner did the same thing. It grew on me and I never changed it but I would have preferred the stock silver look.
Someone will probably like the look. On a white XF it might look pretty good. Maybe someone will trade.

I think they might have been an option only with the Black Pack - which your car doesn't have. It only looks right with the full Black Pack in my view, and personal preference would be on a white car for me.
Chrome looks ridiculous, in my view - standard silver in this style of wheel (Nevis 20") is the way to go.

I think the silver XFR wheels are the way to go. I agree that the white XFR with black pack looks the best. Chrome wheels on anything are a no go for me. Factory chrome wheels regardless of the brand of auto are just totally out of the question. I've never seen any that look good. One thing the XF doesn't need more of, is chrome. IMO of course.

I likehowit looks in the pic but I know my XFR is Ultimate Black in color so I can not put anything on it black uinless its color matched as my color looks like root beer in the sunlight with the metal flakes.
If I was you I would go buy the stock XFR wheels in Chrome and sell your black ones once your new Chrome ones come in. I think there would be a high paying customer who will really want your black wheels.

Although I like the white too, that's not mine. I was just showing the stock wheels I have, and jaguny is right, they are Salena's.
Ive posted pics of mine here

I dunno...I dunno why on earth the black wheel thing has taken off. No criticism to those who like it but I feel like its 100 times worse on a car like a Jag. When it comes to a mass market Japanese car that has zero character I can understand (only a tiny bit) wanting to make it unique. I'd never do it, but I can sort of understand.
When it comes to a Jag you already have something that's great, so why bust it up? I'd go back to the factory originals and make the car as it should be personally. If they're well done I'm sure there's someone out there who'll find them beautiful...and you can have theirs!
But that's just my thing, buy a car that looks awesome bone stock and leave it alone. Its just classier, stands the test of time better, looks better and helps with resale in the end too...my 2 cents...well 3 cents...
