Hi,

I recently purchased an XFR (roughly 2 months ago) and was wondering if anyone in the Northern NJ area had the Mina Exhaust or any other system on their cars that they would be willing to meet up with me for coffee so I can hear what it sounds like. I am considering doing a resonator delete or Mina Exhasut but would like to hear them in person before I make the leap and altering my car from stock.

Congrats on the XFR! I am nowhere near Jersey, however here is a video I took of the Mina exhaust on my XFR before it "burned in" (it is more muted now). Hope this helps a little:

If you do get it, I can promise you that you won't be sad.

Thanks for the reply and the video.....My only concern is that I use the XFR for business so I wouldn't want it to be obnoxious sounding.... I really would like it to sound a little more aggressive though....possibly something like a AM V8 Vantage if that is possible with the Mina....

No worries, I use mine for business as well and I get nothing but compliments. I'm not sure what kind of business you're in but personally I would not want it any more aggressive when clients are with me in the car. Some of the other options out there (Quicksilver, Arden, etc.) I have heard are louder but also significantly more expensive. You may want to do some research on those.

You could also weld in an x pipe along with the Mina, that is supposed to smooth out the tone.

I also have the Mina and love it. It takes around 1000 miles for the exhaust to mellow out but it's worth it. Also go to a good shop as two tabs have to be pushed out of the way. If they are touching the Minas you will get a weird sonnating sound. Minna customer service is excellent too. Andrew in LA
