Well, I am **** about everything working. If it is there, it should work. Frankly, like it or not some of what you call "Tokyo by Night" is helping revive Jag as a brand and in catching up with offerings from other luxury makers. Before the XF, Jag was not even on my radar. I guess the old Jag didn't really appeal to my demographics (early 30s).
Anyway, I was playing with activating/deactivating the interior courtesy lights and in doing so, the start/stop button started pulsating again. I cannot say it is linked to the courtesy lights though since I was not able to duplicate it but I am glad it is working again.
Cheers!

It is not a driver alterable setting so the light has become non functional. It won't be just a fuse. I rather like the pulsing light as well as the rotating vents (which can be altered by the driver to stay fixed open) and the rising gear selector. These are consistent with the new Jaguar feel combining old World sophistication with the sense of high tech entertainment. It isn't high tech of course but that is the whole point.
It boils down to the joy of driving and the Jaguar delivers on the promise presented by the superficial high tech with real World driving pleasure to the latest standards of performance. The new Jaguar makes BMW, Audi and Mercedes products seem unnecessarily complex and flashy actually. Heck I can even turn up the radio without looking at a menu choice screen first.
Get your dealer to fix that pulsation...
