I thought about the oem subwoofer upgrade but the amplifiers and the wiring seem difficult to do. I installed an aftermarket system. Replace the mids in the door with tweeter and replaced the woofers with 8inch mids in all 4 doors. Installed audiocontrol i7 to get a fullrange signal for the aftermarket amps. All I need is to pick out some sunwoofers to buy

Finally got it sorted out,one thing was this connector shown above moving the 4 wires fixed my sound issues with the front door mids,my car is a MY2012 and the connector was behind the driver side tail lamp or very close to it..Also once I figured out how to edit CCF to enable audio functions for sub and surround it's all good..
The only thing different I noticed is I don't have any Meridian logo's on the audio screen,I didn't update or program the software in the head unit could that be why ?

What's the volume of the subwoofer enclosure that comes with the car? My vehicle has an 8" sub on the opposite side of the spare wheel holder.

Default Part Numbers?

Up, anyone can please share sample part numbers for amplifier that is suitable for retrofitting subwoofer?

Mine is AW93-19C164-CV and obviusly it does not work.

i see for example
6H52-18C808-CD - cheaper
6H52-18C808-DD - more expensive
and many more different part numbers.

anyone Please?

I think the 2012 MY will show up the B&W logo. Did you reprogram the amp?

I don't know anyone in California who has SDD and could do the CCF changes for you, been trying to find someone but haven't found them yet...
Hey Cambo, my name is Brandon. I’m located in Northern Ca with the CCF Editor and SDD but having difficulties running the software on my particular PC. But when I get it up and running I was hoping to do the same as the gentleman mentioned in the thread. Any chance do you know how I would go about editing a new sub into the CCF? Thanks In advance.
