Default P0420 Question

Ok, I've searched and can't really find anything...so here's the question:
I've got the P0420 code with no other codes. IF it is a faulty O2 sensor, which one do you think it would be and why?

I've got a 2015 XFRS, and Jag put in 3 sensors on each side. P0420 is bank 1, so that's the right side, but which sensor? Pre cat, in cat (WHY is that a thing?) or post cat?

Cheers!

It may well not be any O2, especially if you've no O2 codes.

You can go looking in detail at each O2 but maybe instead check the cat. conv. out.

Default yea

got the same thing about 4 yrs ago.. replaced the cat on my driver's side... got the same code about 4 yrs later..I didn't think it can be the cat always thought it was the 02 sensors.. dealership says it's the cat not the sensors.. dunno what to think since that factory replacement cat is only 5 yrs old .mit can't possibly be bad can it ??

and if it is what if I keep driving with that check engine light on?

It depends on whether the fuelling has been wrong - are all the OBD monitors happy (set) and the fuel trims good?
