Default Phone or car problem

I Need help please.
I have a 2008 jag xf I have connected phone up via Bluetooth(Samsung note 2) but when I use the voice control it dials the number but ends the call before it rings. Not sure if its a phone or car problem please help.: icon_shrug:

Do you get the same problem when using the touchscreen dialler or using your phone to initiate the call?

Also, what operating system version is your phone? (found in Settings -> About Phone -> Android Version). I've got the same phone with 4.4.2 but not had any issues with bluetooth calling.

To be honest these cars (with the old touchscreen interface) aren't great with the feedback for why a dial failed. Wrong number, line busy and no signal just cause the drop you're explaining with little feedback, might want to check those.

hi I have no problems with the touchscreen dialler. Just the voice dialler I say a name in my phone book it says dialling then ends call without connecting. I have got android 4,4.2. could it be a phone problem.
